Charles R. Pierce, Jr.
From his office in Oyster Bay, Charles "Chip" R. Pierce, Jr. dedicates much of his practice to assisting contractors, suppliers, architects, and other construction industry professionals in New York City and Long Island with a variety of legal issues. He also counsels clients in commercial litigation, estate planning, and business organization and transactions.
In addition to serving as a construction law faculty member for Lorman Education Services, National Business Institute, and Sterling Education Services, Chip has lectured before the New York State Bar Association and the Regional Alliance for Small Contractors. He also participates in Continuing Legal Education (CLE) events. His lecture topics have covered AIA contracts, mechanic's liens, payment and performance bonds, liability of design professionals, prevailing wage, mediation, risk allocation between owners and contractors, and general construction law. Among his community service activities, Chip is a member and past president of the Huntington Chapter of the Lions Club.
With over 20 years of experience, Chip is able to represent construction professionals in all phases of their business, from corporate formation through negotiation and claim resolution. He takes pride in helping clients get building projects done, and in building long-lasting relationships along the way.
